The new proposals include a tax on plastic which does not contain at least 30% of recycled material, 
deposit return schemes for bottles and cans, food waste collections for all households and making 
producers pick up the cost of recycling their packaging.

At Quantum Waste we are already collecting food waste from our customers and recycle more materials 
than the industry standard. We hope that these proposals turn into real changes in the management and 
reduction of waste.
