The UK’s new PEPR (Packaging Extended Producer Responsibility) regulations are shaking up the 
world of recycling. These rules make packaging producers responsible for the life cycle of their 
products—from production through to recycling. For companies like Quantum Waste, which handles 
the waste and recycling process, this change means we may start seeing an increase in recyclable 
packaging materials.

Since producers are now accountable for recycling costs, they’re encouraged to design packaging 
that’s easier to process, aligning well with Quantum Waste’s mission of creating a cleaner, more
